Biography

Professor Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Shaeelan Al-Buraiki is a researcher and academic specializing in Hadith and its sciences, as well as Islamic studies. He holds a professorship in Islamic studies and has extensive academic and research experience in university teaching, scientific supervision, and serving academic institutions for more than 17 years. He earned his PhD in Hadith and its sciences from the International Islamic University Malaysia in 2016, with a dissertation titled: "The Problematic of Mutawatir Hadith." He also obtained a Master's degree in Hadith and its sciences from the University of Science and Technology in Sana'a, and a Bachelor's degree in Sharia and Islamic Studies from Dar Al-Hadith Al-Khairiya in Mecca, graduating with excellent honors. He progressed academically in several universities, working first as an assistant professor and then as an associate professor at Najran University from 15/6/1431H to 30/1/1446H. He then worked as a professor at the College of Qur'an and Islamic Studies at Dar Al-Salam in Tanzania from 1/1/2025 to 30/2/2026, and later earned a full professorship in 2026 from the French-Arab Africa University. Currently, he works as a professor at the American Islamic University in Minnesota remotely, and has taught many specialized courses.
