Islamic University Announces Organizational Structure of Minnesota Platform

The Media Center of the Islamic University of Minnesota - Main Center announced the organizational and administrative structure of the Minnesota Platform for Education and Development through a post published on May 5, 2026, across the university community’s main WhatsApp groups and official social media pages. The announcement reflects the platform’s vision of establishing a modern digital learning environment that combines academic quality with advanced technologies.

According to the statement, the platform is built upon an academic leadership framework and an integrated professional team dedicated to providing an advanced educational experience that keeps pace with the evolving demands of online education and training, while supporting professional and cognitive development pathways for learners and trainees in various academic fields.

Under the announced structure, Dr. Omar Al-Maqrami serves as Director of the Minnesota Platform for Education and Development, while Dr. Zainab Ali Basyouni supervises the platform’s operations. Dr. Fatima Al-Wahsh has been appointed Director of Scientific Affairs and Academic Supervision, Ms. Bushra Al-Sorbi serves as Director of Operations and Content, and Eng. Mohammed Abduljawad holds the position of Director of Technical Affairs.

On the technical side, the platform includes a specialized team responsible for technical development and supervision, comprising Ms. Marwa Hassan, Eng. Ali Mustafa, and Eng. Omar Alawi. The team oversees the development of the platform’s technical infrastructure and works to enhance the quality of educational services provided to beneficiaries.

The organizational structure also includes a specialized media team consisting of Anas Mohammed Naseer Al-Din and Eng. Mohammed Al-Hajrasi as Media Production and Design Specialists, in addition to Eng. Mohammed Al-Basha, who serves as Media and Publishing Officer, in support of strengthening the platform’s media presence and highlighting its activities and training programs.

The announcement of the platform’s organizational structure comes shortly after its official launch, as part of the university’s broader vision to expand digital education and development initiatives and establish a modern training system aimed at delivering professional content that meets the needs of learners and trainees across various scientific and professional disciplines.
