Digital Library Invites Faculty Members

The Digital Library and Scientific Journals Unit at the Islamic University of Minnesota - Main Campus has renewed its invitation to faculty members to contribute to supporting the University’s digital archive by providing their authored books, research papers, and scientific publications, as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen electronic documentation of academic output and enhance the University’s scholarly presence in the digital sphere.

In an official circular, the Unit stated that it has completed the archiving of all previously submitted materials and files within the digital profiles of faculty members. It also noted that an independent electronic file has been created for each faculty member, including their academic information and archived scholarly production, in a manner that contributes to organizing and systematically presenting scientific content.

The Unit called upon faculty members wishing to update their academic profiles or submit new publications and research works to send the materials through the Unit’s designated WhatsApp contact, while ensuring the inclusion of essential information, namely the full name of the faculty member, college, and academic department, in order to facilitate indexing and digital documentation procedures.

The Digital Library and Scientific Journals Unit affirmed that this initiative comes within the framework of the University’s efforts to support the advancement of knowledge and strengthen its academic and research presence across digital platforms, reflecting the scholarly and research contributions of its faculty members.

The circular concluded with the signature of Mr. Mohammed Makki Al-Taher, Director of the Digital Library and Scientific Journals Unit, who expressed his appreciation for the continued cooperation and contributions of faculty members in supporting the University’s academic and intellectual mission.
