Law Department Successfully Concludes Summer Semester
The Department of Law at the College of Sharia and Law, Islamic University of Minnesota - Main Center, has successfully concluded the summer semester after accomplishing the academic and organizational objectives set out at the beginning of the term, reflecting its ongoing commitment to enhancing educational quality and maintaining high standards of academic and administrative performance.
Throughout the summer semester, academic programs were implemented according to the approved schedules, with lectures and examinations conducted regularly and course requirements successfully completed. In addition, educational materials and electronic course resources were uploaded in a timely manner, contributing to a well-organized learning environment that supported student achievement and strengthened the effectiveness of the teaching process.
At the outset of the semester, the Department’s faculty members held a coordination meeting dedicated to discussing the academic and administrative preparations necessary for the successful implementation of the summer term. The meeting reviewed course schedules, the distribution of teaching assignments among faculty members, and the scheduling of lectures and examinations for various law courses.
The meeting also addressed mechanisms for monitoring students during examinations in accordance with established academic regulations and emphasized the preparation of two versions of both midterm and final examinations. Faculty members further reaffirmed their commitment to uploading course materials and electronic course files within the prescribed deadlines.
In addition, discussions focused on academic coordination measures, including the exchange of selected courses among faculty members to promote flexibility in the teaching process and ensure a balanced distribution of teaching responsibilities. Administrative and organizational arrangements required for the smooth operation of the summer semester were also reviewed.
These early preparations and carefully planned organizational measures played a significant role in the successful completion of the summer semester and the achievement of its objectives, reflecting the high level of cooperation and coordination among faculty members and their continued dedication to advancing academic performance and strengthening the quality of education in support of the mission of the Department, the College, and the University.
