Islamic University of Minnesota Workshop Explores Educational Performance Quality Engineering
The Minnesota Education Platform, in collaboration with the Quality and Development Unit and in coordination with the Deanship of Faculty Members and Administrative Affairs at the Islamic University of Minnesota - Main Center, organized a specialized training workshop entitled “Educational Performance Quality Engineering and Its Impact on Academic Leadership and Student Achievement.” The workshop was held as part of the University’s efforts to strengthen a culture of quality, enhance educational practices, and promote academic and institutional excellence.
The workshop was delivered by Dr. Mohammed Al-Tayeb, a faculty member at the University, and moderated by Dr. Fatima Jumaa Al-Wahsh. It was attended by a wide range of unit directors, college secretaries, faculty members, and students, who actively engaged with the workshop’s academic topics and practical applications.
The workshop addressed a number of contemporary practices and strategies related to educational performance quality engineering, focusing on their role in developing the educational environment, promoting academic leadership, and improving student achievement. It also highlighted mechanisms for building a more efficient and effective educational system based on clear quality standards and capable of achieving institutional and academic excellence objectives.
The workshop further emphasized the importance of adopting modern approaches to educational management, enhancing faculty performance, and activating assessment tools, alongside continuous improvement as a key foundation for improving learning outcomes and enhancing the educational experience in accordance with contemporary academic best practices.
The workshop is part of the training programs implemented by the Minnesota Education Platform in support of the University’s efforts to develop academic and administrative competencies, establish a culture of quality and continuous improvement, and foster an educational environment that promotes excellence and innovation, thereby supporting the University’s continued pursuit of leadership in higher education.
