Training Center Organizes Workshop on Emerging Research Trends in Artificial Intelligence
The Training, Development, and Community Programs Center at the main center of the Islamic University of Minnesota organized a specialized training workshop on Saturday, April 4, 2026, titled "Emerging Research Trends in Artificial Intelligence in Cybersecurity." The workshop witnessed broad participation from students, academics, and interested attendees from both inside and outside the university.
The workshop was delivered by Dr. Dua’a Mohammed Hussein, a faculty member in the Department of Networks and Cybersecurity. She presented the latest research developments in the application of artificial intelligence to strengthen cybersecurity systems, highlighting contemporary applications as well as future challenges facing this vital field.
The session recorded notable engagement from participants who attended via the Zoom platform, where they were given the opportunity to discuss and ask questions, contributing to enriching the scientific content and enhancing knowledge exchange across various disciplines.
In an effort to broaden access to the content, the center made the workshop recording and materials available through a dedicated online link, allowing interested individuals to revisit and benefit from its scientific content at any time. The center also encouraged participants to follow previous lectures and training sessions via its digital platform.
This workshop is part of a series of training programs conducted by the center aimed at keeping pace with scientific and technological developments, enhancing the skills of researchers and students in contemporary fields, and building advanced knowledge capacities that meet the demands of the digital era.
