PhD Dissertation on Impact of HR Practices on Administrative Performance Discussed

The Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at the main center of the Islamic University of Minnesota held, on Saturday evening, April 18, 2026, a scientific session to discuss a PhD dissertation submitted by researcher Hussein Mohammed Ali Al-Duraim, in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration at the College of Economics and Business Administration

The dissertation examined the impact of human resource management practices on the performance of administrative staff in Saudi sports clubs, highlighting the role of these practices in enhancing job efficiency and improving institutional performance, in line with the strategic objectives of sports organizations.

The discussion session was conducted via Zoom, in the presence of a specialized academic committee chaired by Dr. Manal Mohammed Mahmoud, Head of the Department of Business Administration. The committee included Dr. Marwan Al-Abbas as the dissertation supervisor, Dr. Mohammed Khalid Abulqasem as the internal examiner, and Dr. Harith Zuhair as the external examiner

The session featured an in-depth academic discussion, during which committee members presented a number of methodological and scholarly observations that contributed to enriching the study and strengthening its applied dimensions, alongside positive engagement from the researcher
