Biography

A Jordanian academic and researcher in Arabic literature and its criticism, she combines critical insight with academic expertise in her career. She earned her PhD in Arabic Language and Literature (Literature and Criticism) from Al-Hussein Bin Talal University in 2020, after obtaining her master's degree from Yarmouk University in 2009, and her bachelor's degree from Irbid National University in 2005. She has taught at universities both inside and outside Jordan, including Irbid National University and Al-Wajh College at the University of Tabuk in Saudi Arabia. She currently works as an assistant professor at the Islamic University in Minnesota, USA. Her research interests focus on both classical and modern Arabic literature, with a strong inclination towards interdisciplinary studies that utilize modern sciences, particularly chaos theory, to understand and analyze literary texts as complex dynamic systems. She has participated in various conferences and academic seminars and has contributed several research papers and critical articles. One of her notable contributions is a research paper titled "The Rhetoric of Confusion in Abbasid Poetry: Abu Nuwas, Abu Tammam, Al-Mutanabbi," presented at the First Scientific Conference for Graduate Students in Jordanian Universities, held at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan. She has published: 'Manifestations of Ambition in Al-Mutanabbi's Poetry' (2023), and 'Critical Approaches to Selected Literary Models' (2024), with Zad Publishers and Distributors, Amman. And 'Chaos Theory in Abbasid Poetry: From Rebellion to Beauty' (2025) with Al-An Publishers and Distributors, Amman.
