Islamic University of Minnesota Training Course Explores Digital Economy and Artificial Intelligence

The Minnesota Education and Development Platform, in coordination with the Quality and Development Unit and the Deanship of Faculty Affairs at the Islamic University of Minnesota, organized a specialized scientific training course entitled "The Digital Economy, FinTech, and Artificial Intelligence: The Transformation toward a Smart Economy." The course was part of the Platform’s training programs aimed at developing faculty members’ knowledge and skills in emerging fields and keeping pace with rapid developments in the economy and digital technologies.

The course was delivered by Dr. Ibrahim Sabri Al-Minawi and moderated by Dr. Fatima Jumaa Al-Wahsh, with the participation of a number of faculty members. It addressed key contemporary trends in the digital economy and examined the growing role of financial technology and artificial intelligence in building more efficient and innovative economies. The course also discussed the major opportunities and challenges associated with digital transformation and its impact on academic and professional institutions.

The course further highlighted the importance of strengthening academic staff readiness for the requirements of the smart economy and enhancing their ability to leverage modern technologies to improve institutional performance, support innovation, and contribute to developing more flexible educational environments capable of responding to global economic and technological changes.
